The Myth of Sisyphus

J: In watching the wonderful, sweet film Coyote vs. Acme, (discussed in detail in Episode 343), I realized that perhaps The Film Talk itself is a Sisyphean effort. Gareth and I have been doing this show for more than 20 years now, it’s become a ball that perhaps I enjoy see rolling down that hill so we can push it up again. As Camus wrote in ‘The Myth of Sisyphus’, “The struggle itself towards the heights is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy.”
